Matthew's Carriage Rides
Along the Lake of Shining Waters and around the Museum Property
Enjoy Matthews Carriage Ride with “Matthew” as your guide and driver where you will view the Lake of Shining Waters, drive through beautiful flower gardens and be driven around the Anne of Green Gables Museum property.
Carriage Ride rates**
The carriage can hold up to 5 adults or children,
Short Carriage Ride - approx 8-10 minutes
$4.00 per adult, $1.50 per child taxes included.
Enjoy Matthew's carriage ride with "Matthew" as your guide and driver. Your ride will begin at the Anne of Green Gables Museum, continue on through beautiful flower gardens around the property and by the Lake of Shining Waters, with a return ride to the Museum.

Half Hour Carriage Ride,
Up to 5 adults or children, $55 taxes included
Your own peaceful private carriage ride with "Matthew" as your guide and driver. Your ride will begin at the Anne of Green Gables Museum and continue through beautiful flower gardens around the property as well as by the Lake of Shining Waters. Your ride will continue on across a country road and down a private country lane where you will enjoy pastoral fields, rolling hills and red farm land with a scenic return ride to the Museum.

One Hour Carriage Ride,
Up to 5 adults or children. $90.00 taxes included.
Your own peaceful private carriage ride with "Matthew" as your guide and driver. Your ride will begin at the Anne of Green Gables Museum and continue through beautiful flower gardens around the property as well as by the Lake of Shining Waters. Your ride will continue on across a country road and down a private country lane onto a private beach where you may take pictures or stroll on a beautiful white sandy beach that inspired LM Montgomery. Enjoy pastoral fields, rolling hills and red farm land on your scenic return ride to the Museum. Truly an "Island Memory" to take home with you.
